DECEMBER 2017
December’s career highlight was without a doubt…the thrill of sitting in front of my television to watch myself in Tiger Aspect's new murder mystery gameshow television series, Armchair Detectives. I appear in Episode 11, 'School’s Out for Murder', in the role of Ms Emma Kean. Finally, after a long hiatus, I have appeared in a project that anyone with a television licence can watch! Huge thanks to Tiger Aspect Productions for giving me this opportunity 🙏
For whilst I am eternally grateful to the independent film industry and consider myself very lucky to be able to appear in lots of independent short films and features, there is something spine-tinglingly exciting about appearing in a project that is broadcast to the nation.
My episode aired on 4 December on BBC One and is still available to watch, along with the rest of Series 1, on BBC iPlayer. So, if you’re a fan of murder mysteries, make sure to download the series, and remember, ‘No-one gets away with murder in Mortcliff!’ http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b09j2jnb

More excitement this month…as I had the good fortune to meet casting director Orla O’Connor and I can’t wait to put her excellent advice into practice immediately. There is nothing more rewarding than hearing from someone who works at the source in this industry, especially when that someone is so generous with their time and and has so much knowledge, plus is willing to share it! So thank you Orla, and thank you also to Gerry Lynch for organising such an amazing workshop.
On reflection…this has been another amazing year that has provided lots of outstanding projects as well as lots of opportunities to develop new skills and make new friends. I can’t wait to share with you the projects that I have worked on this year, but in the meantime (and in no particular order) my favourite memories for 2017 are:
* being awarded Acting Hour's 'Actor of the Week' in March as well as in October

So, thank you for coming on this journey with me. I hope you have enjoyed my monthly updates and I hope to be able to continue to provide you with lots more in 2018.
But for now, I would like to wish you a very happy New Year to you and yours when it comes and I hope 2018 is a year of love, peace, health and happiness for you.
